The Problem
The Student Summit experience was largely transactional and sponsor-driven:
Focused on event logistics and exhibitor visibility
Limited guidance for students exploring careers
No clear connection between academic majors and real-world roles
User gap:
Students didn’t just need information - they needed context, clarity, and direction.
Key Insight
This wasn’t a content gap, it was a guidance gap.
Students were asking:
“What can I actually do with my major?”
“What does this industry look like in real life?”
“Where do I start?”
The experience needed to shift from:
Information → Guided discovery
